Damian Lillard and Draymond Green have committed to play for Team USA at the Tokyo Olympics, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania and Joe Vardon.

The Portland Trail Blazers guard and Golden State Warriors forward are reportedly among the first group of players to commit.

It will be Lillard's first Olympic appearance. The 30-year-old was on USA Basketball's shortlist for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games, but he declined the invitation while recovering from a foot injury.

Green joined Team USA in 2016, helping Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski's squad capture gold while going undefeated in the tournament.

The team will hold training camps at UNLV's campus July 6-18 and play exhibition games against Nigeria, Australia, Argentina, and Spain. The Americans will compete in Group A against France, Iran, and the winner of the Olympic qualifying tournament to be held in Canada later this month.

The men's Olympic basketball tournament begins July 25, with the final tipping off on Aug. 7.
