Maple Leafs HC Carlyle says Kessel is 'fine' after X-rays on foot

Toronto Maple Leafs coach Randy Carlyle was optimistic about the status of Phil Kessel's foot after the team's leading scorer underwent precautionary X-rays following Saturday's game.
Word is Kessel is "fine" after being taken for precautionary X-rays on toe.

Toronto hosts the Calgary Flames on Tuesday hoping to snap out of an eight-game losing skid that has knocked it out of the Eastern Conference playoff hunt.
The Maple Leafs are two losses shy of tying the franchise-record losing skid set between January 15-February 8, 1967.
