Datsyuk, Ovechkin, Kovalchuk featured on Russian Olympic hockey team
The Russian Ice Hockey Federation has confirmed the identity of the 25 players who will represent the host country at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia.

Goaltending: Sergei Bobrovsky, Semyon Varlamov, Alexander Eremenko
Defensemen: Fedor Tyutin, Slava Voynov, Andrei Markov, Nikita Nikitin, Anton Belov, Alexei Emelin, Evgeny Medvedev, Ilya Nikulin
Forwards: Artem Anisimov, Pavel Datsyuk, Ilya Kovalchuk, Denis Kokarev, Nikolai Kulemin, Evgeni Malkin, Valeri Nichushkin, Alexander Ovechkin, Alexander Popov, Alexander Radulov, Vladimir Tarasenko, Alexei Tereshenko, Viktor Tikhonov
Easily the most notable omission is Carolina Hurricanes winger Alexander Semin.
