Lightning G Ben Bishop leaves game with apparent hand issue
The Tampa Bay Lightning saw their starting goaltender Ben Bishop leave Sunday night's game against the Edmonton Oilers less than five minutes into the first period.
Bishop faced one shot and on sustained pressure by the Oilers that resulted in a goal, Bishop went to the trainers at the bench. The trainer was trying to move around his blocker and sort out something with his hand. Bishop then skated off the ice and to the locker room. The Lightning still have no confirmation or update to offer.
The Lightning are down 3-1 to the Oilers after the first period.
