San Jose Sharks superstar Macklin Celebrini is the cover athlete for NHL 27, EA Sports announced Tuesday.
The 20-year-old is the youngest player ever to be a cover athlete for the popular video game franchise.

Celebrini launched himself into superstardom in 2025-26. He notched 115 points to finish fourth in Hart Trophy voting and earn a nomination for the Ted Lindsay Award. He also shined internationally for Team Canada, recording five goals and five assists in six games at the Milan Cortina Olympics.
He was the first overall pick in 2024 and is the first Sharks player to appear on an EA Sports cover since Owen Nolan in 2001.
A full trailer for this year's game is set to be released July 16.
