Florida Panthers head coach Paul Maurice announced that forward Sam Reinhart won't play in Saturday's Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final due to a lower-body injury, according to NHL.com's Dan Rosen.

The 29-year-old winger is considered day-to-day, Maurice added. Jesper Boqvist will enter the lineup in his place and skate on the first line with Aleksander Barkov and Evan Rodrigues.

Reinhart suffered the ailment from a hit by Sebastian Aho in Game 2 against the Carolina Hurricanes.

He's registered four goals and seven assists in 14 games this postseason. Reinhart paced the Panthers with 39 goals and 81 points during the regular season.

Boqvist hasn't played since Game 6 of Round 2 against the Toronto Maple Leafs. He's tallied two points in nine games this postseason after potting a career-high 12 goals during the regular season.

The Panthers lead the series 2-0.
