Leafs' Robertson out at least 10 weeks with broken leg
The injury, which is a non-displaced fracture of his right fibula, will not require surgery.
Robertson got hit and landed awkwardly on his right leg in the second period of the Marlies' clash with the Manitoba Moose and was unable to return.
A promising forward in the Leafs' pipeline, Robertson has played in just 10 career NHL games, including four playoff matchups, and has registered one goal and one assist. He made his debut during the Leafs' 2020 postseason series against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The 20-year-old was injured in his regular-season debut with the Leafs against the Ottawa Senators last year and was sidelined for four weeks.
The Leafs selected Robertson in the second round of the 2019 draft. He has two assists in two AHL games this season.
