The Montreal Canadiens have signed forward Charles Hudon to a one-year, $800,000 contract, the team announced Friday.
Hudon was a restricted free agent and had an arbitration hearing set for Aug. 2.
The 25-year-old recorded 10 goals and 30 points during his rookie year in 2017-18, but he tallied just five points in 32 games last season.
Since being selected with the 122nd overall pick in the 2012 draft, Hudon has totaled 13 goals and 39 points in 110 career games.
