Lane Johnson returning to Eagles for 2026 season
Lane Johnson will be back for the 2026 season.
The 35-year-old right tackle told the Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane on Thursday that he's officially returning for a 14th campaign with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Johnson's return is a key move for an Eagles offensive line that'll be under new leadership. The team hired Chris Kuper from the Minnesota Vikings as its new offensive line coach after longtime leader Jeff Stoutland exited earlier this offseason. Philadelphia will also have a new offensive coordinator in Sean Mannion.
However, Johnson is coming off a season in which a foot injury limited him to just 10 games - his fewest since 2020.
Drafted by the Eagles with the No. 4 pick in 2013, Johnson has appeared in 168 career games and earned six Pro Bowl nods.
