Pending free-agent guard Wyatt Teller announced Wednesday that he won't return to the Cleveland Browns.

"I wish things were different and this is hard to put into words," Teller wrote in a statement. "When Buffalo traded me to Cleveland seven years ago, I never could have imagined how much this city would mean to me. Ultimately, the Browns took a chance on me that changed the trajectory of my life forever."

Teller, 31, has started 94 games, earning three Pro Bowl nods and two second-team All-Pro nominations, since Cleveland acquired him in August 2019.

The Browns are now nearing uncharted territory, as all five of their primary starters up front from 2025 are scheduled to become unrestricted free agents in March.

Left tackle Cam Robinson, left guard Joel Bitonio, center Ethan Pocic, right guard Teller, and right tackle Jack Conklin all played last year on expiring contracts. Backup guard Teven Jenkins, who started four games in 2025, is also scheduled to become a free agent.

Dawand Jones began the year as the starting left tackle but suffered a season-ending knee injury just three games in. Jones is still under contract for the 2026 season.

The Browns are currently $19.5 million over the salary cap, according to Spotrac. Free agents can begin negotiating with teams March 9 and officially sign March 11.
