Lamar says he'll play vs. Steelers
Lamar Jackson told reporters Thursday there's a "100%" chance he'll start Sunday night's winner-take-all game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Baltimore Ravens quarterback missed the team's last game due to a back contusion. He added that he's been doing "a lot of treatment" and feels "great right now."
Jackson said he'll wear protective gear Sunday, though he doesn't expect it to affect how he plays, according to Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Banner.
If the Ravens win Sunday, they will clinch their third straight AFC North title and punch their ticket to the postseason as the No. 4 seed. If they lose, the Steelers will make the playoffs instead.
Jackson has missed four games this season after a previous three-game absence due to a hamstring injury. The two-time MVP compiled a 6-6 record when healthy while throwing for 18 touchdowns to six interceptions. His 63.7% completion rate would stand as his lowest since 2022.
The 28-year-old also dismissed rumors of a rift with John Harbaugh on Thursday, noting he has a strong relationship with his head coach, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.
