Jaguars signing Meyers to 3-year extension worth reported $60M

The Jacksonville Jaguars signed wide receiver Jakobi Meyers to a three-year contract extension, the team announced Friday.

The contract is worth $60 million, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.

Meyers' new deal reportedly includes $40 million in guaranteed salary. The 29-year-old was set to become a free agent following this season but opted to remain in Jacksonville after arriving via trade from the Las Vegas Raiders in November.

He made an immediate impact in Jacksonville. Possessing the versatility to line up across the formation, the wideout quickly earned the trust of quarterback Trevor Lawrence and head coach Liam Coen.

Meyers has caught 27 passes for 355 yards and three touchdowns in six games with the Jaguars, whose receiving corps also features Brian Thomas Jr. and 2025 first-round pick Travis Hunter.

The NC State product spent four seasons with the New England Patriots after joining the team as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He played 38 games for the Raiders across three campaigns prior to being traded.
