Browns' Jeudy: Ravens' secondary poses 'no challenges'
Cleveland Browns wideout Jerry Jeudy doesn't expect the Baltimore Ravens' defense to present much of an obstacle in Sunday's matchup.
Jeudy was asked Wednesday what challenges the Ravens' secondary poses for the Browns and responded, "No challenges," according to ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi.
Baltimore is searching for its first win after a bitter 41-40 loss to the Buffalo Bills in the team's season opener. The Ravens blew a 16-point lead and allowed Josh Allen to pass for 264 of his 394 yards in the fourth quarter.
Cleveland cornerback Denzel Ward said he felt the Browns were being slighted after being picked as sizable underdogs against Baltimore. The AFC North foes have split their regular-season series since 2020.
"It's definitely disrespect," Ward said, per Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot. "We just gotta go in there and take care of business regardless of what people may think and who they got winning or losing the game. We got to go in and try to beat the odds."
The Browns are looking to get a notch in the win column after their 17-16 defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals. Cleveland could receive a boost from quarterback Joe Flacco, who will play Baltimore for the first time since the franchise traded him to the Denver Broncos in 2019 after 11 seasons.
"We were on good terms when I left. … You kind of try to act normal, but it is a big deal," Flacco said, according to Oyefusi. "You do want to go beat them."
