The Los Angeles Chargers will play in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Friday night in Week 1 next season, the NFL announced Wednesday.

The Chargers' opponent will be revealed when the NFL's 2025 schedule is released in May. Corinthians Arena, home of soccer club SC Corinthians, will host the contest.

Los Angeles is coming off an 11-6 regular-season record in Jim Harbaugh's first campaign as head coach. The Chargers lost to the Houston Texans in the wild-card round.

There are now seven confirmed international games for the 2025 campaign. Contests in Spain, Germany, Ireland, and England (three games) were previously announced.
