Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan wants to validate the belief that owner Amy Adams Strunk showed in him.

"I am trying to prove her right for believing in me, and I am going to do everything I possibly can to put together a winning team, one that she can be proud of and ultimately our fans can be proud of," Callahan said, according to team reporter Jim Wyatt.

He added: "We have a lot of work to do. I think the urgency is high right now for me."

Callahan was hired last offseason and led the Titans to a 3-14 record in his first season with the franchise. Tennessee finished last in the AFC South, surrendered a league-high 34 giveaways, and ranked 26th in total yards (304.2) and 27th in points (18.3).

Callahan subsequently made changes to his staff but retained offensive coordinator Nick Holz and defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson. Mike Borgonzi was also hired as general manager after the firing of Ran Carthon, while former NFL GMs in Dave Ziegler and Reggie McKenzie were added to the front office.

"The challenging situations that we had this year, I think growth occurs when you are in those really kind of uncomfortable moments during the course of the season," Callahan said.

Tennessee holds the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
