Commanders' Robinson expected to return for TNF vs. Eagles
Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson is set to return to the starting lineup Thursday against the Philadelphia Eagles after missing two games due to a hamstring injury.
The Commanders didn't give Robinson an injury designation on their final injury report Wednesday. The third-year tailback was a full participant in Wednesday's practice after being limited in sessions Monday and Tuesday.
Robinson leads Washington with six rushing touchdowns and is second behind quarterback Jayden Daniels in rushing yards with 461.
The Commanders recorded 149 yards on the ground in a 27-22 win against the New York Giants in Week 9 with Robinson sidelined. However, Washington couldn't replicate that performance against the Steelers last weekend, rushing for 60 yards on 22 attempts.
Austin Ekeler, Jeremy McNichols, and Chris Rodriguez have split carries at halfback with Robinson out of action.
