Quarterback Jared Goff enjoyed a perfect performance in Monday night's 42-29 victory over the Seattle Seahawks by completing all 18 of his pass attempts, though it came as a surprise to his head coach postgame.
"Well, I just gave the game ball to somebody else, so I feel awful right now," Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell told reporters. "I knew he played a heck of a game. I did not realize he was perfect. I did not know he was literally 18-for-18."
Goff threw for 292 yards and two touchdown passes. He also caught a TD pass from Amon-Ra St. Brown.
The Lions signal-caller had a 0.69% chance of completing all of his pass attempts based off the completion probability of each throw, according to Next Gen Stats.
Monday's win moved the Lions to 3-1.
