The Cleveland Browns agreed to a three-year, $15.9-million extension with kicker Dustin Hopkins, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Hopkins' $5.3-million average annual salary ranks fifth among active kickers, adds Schefter.
The 33-year-old made 33-of-36 (91.7%) field goals in his first season with the Browns in 2023. He also connected on 24-of-26 extra points.
Hopkins played for the Washington Commanders between 2015-20. He spent the first six weeks of the 2021 campaign with Washington before finishing the season with the Los Angeles Chargers. Hopkins suited up for five games with the Bolts in 2022.
The veteran kicker owns an 85.8% field-goal percentage and has hit 94.2% of his extra-point tries through 124 career games.
