Kingsbury: Rams' Malibu war room an excuse for McVay to be shirtless

Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury ribbed the Los Angeles Rams about their Malibu war room Thursday, joking that it's an excuse for his NFC West counterpart to be shirtless.

"I really think it's just a ploy by (Sean) McVay to allow himself the opportunity to take his shirt off again and jump in the pool like he did on 'Hard Knocks,' probably sip a little Rosé, dip in the ocean, and make some draft picks," Kingsbury told reporters.

While the two sideline bosses are known for their offensive innovation on the field, Kingsbury and McVay are also regarded as two of the NFL's most stylish coaches.

McVay has won all four meetings against Kingsbury since the latter became the Cardinals' head coach in 2019, earning bragging rights where it matters most.
