π Bet: Over 69.5 receiving yards
Thomas only caught one pass for 9 yards in the Jaguars' opener, but he was targeted seven times. Jacksonville's passing game struggled to find a rhythm, accumulating 178 passing yards compared to 200 rushing yards.
However, I'm not overly concerned about the Jaguars' passing game moving forward. Thomas is Trevor Lawrence's top target, and eventually, those targets will lead to receptions and yards. A game against the Bengals - who had one of the NFL's worst passing defenses last season, although it showed flashes of improvement against the lowly Browns in Week 1 - is the perfect matchup to provide a spark.
π Bet: Under 235.5 passing yards
If you're still mesmerized by Allen's fourth-quarter heroics last Sunday night, you're not the only one. He threw for 394 yards against the Ravens, 251 of them in the final frame. However, don't expect that kind of production against the Jets on Sunday.
Allen only threw for 143 yards through three quarters in the opener. Because the Bills trailed by two scores in the fourth quarter, he was forced to drop back nearly every play. He attempted 46 passes, more than he did in any game last season. As 6.5-point favorites against the Jets, Buffalo should be able to rely on its running game with a lead. New York didn't manage its best defensive performance against the Steelers in Week 1, but the Jets' solid pass rush should pressure Allen. The Bills signal-caller failed to eclipse 235 passing yards in either meeting with the Jets last season.
π Bet: Under 52.5 rushing yards
Tracy had 10 carries for 24 yards in Week 1. While he appears to be the Giants' lead back, New York clearly lacks an effective rushing attack. Despite the loss of Micah Parsons, the Cowboys' run defense was surprisingly effective against the Eagles in Week 1, holding Saquon Barkley to 60 rushing yards. Dallas should have similar success against the Giants' putrid offensive line.
π Bet: Over 4.5 rushing attempts
Williams' Monday Night Football tape is inconsistent; he showed flashes as a passer and also missed key opportunities. However, the second-year quarterback was at his best as a willing runner. He had six carries for 58 yards and recorded his first career rushing touchdown. Play-caller Ben Johnson should emphasize using Williams' legs more frequently, even against a daunting Lions defensive front in Week 2.
π Bet: Over 79.5 receiving yards
Lamb grabbed seven catches for 110 yards in the Cowboys' season opener against the Eagles. He also had a few drops that cost his team points and hurt his receiving totals. Dak Prescott targeted him 13 times, on par with how much Prescott typically likes to target his top option. Like the Eagles, the Giants have holes in their secondary that the Cowboys will exploit. Despite recording over 100 yards, Lamb was likely unhappy with his Week 1 drops. This is a bounce-back spot for him against a porous defense.

π Bet: Anytime TD (+125)
With Tank Bigsby getting traded to the Philadelphia Eagles, this should give Etienne the green light as Jacksonville's top running back. The 26-year-old shouldered a heavy workload in Week 1, totaling 146 yards on 19 touches, and will face a Bengals defense that ranked 22nd in rushing touchdowns surrendered in 2024.
π Bet: Anytime TD (+175)
We're buying the dip on the star pass-catcher. After a one-catch performance in Week 1, Brown's odds have moved to a place we can't ignore. The 28-year-old scored touchdowns in both Super Bowls against the Chiefs, and Kansas City allowed the most receiving yards and scores to opposing wideouts in Week 1. The Eagles will likely force-feed their top wide receiver in this matchup.
π Bet: Anytime TD (+255)
The second-year wideout produced a positive season-opening performance against the Ravens, racking up eight receptions on 11 targets for 112 yards and a touchdown. Coleman is poised to maintain his heavy target share in Buffalo's offense and has great odds to score Sunday. The Jets' defense allowed 175 receiving yards and two touchdowns to opposing wide receivers in Week 1.
π Bet: Anytime TD (+250)
It's no secret: The rookie tight end will be the focal point of the Colts' offense for the 2025 season. Warren was utilized all over the field in the season opener, posting nine touches, eight targets, and seven receptions for 79 total yards. These odds are too good to pass up as the first-round pick is set to be Daniel Jones' target in this Week 2 matchup versus the Denver Broncos.
π Bet: Anytime TD (+550)
Our long shot of the week is a Bears veteran versus a Lions defense that allowed a touchdown to tight end Tucker Kraft in Week 1. Kmet got a significant amount of playing time in Week 1 against the Vikings, playing over 89% of the offensive snaps. Head coach Ben Johnson appears adamant about running two-tight end sets all year, so Kmet at these odds is a good swing in Week 2.
