Washington Redskins quarterback Case Keenum is expected to return from his foot injury and start in Week 6, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Keenum started the first four games of the season before being pulled for rookie Dwayne Haskins in Week 4. Colt McCoy then started Washington's Week 5 loss to the New England Patriots.

Interim head coach Bill Callahan didn't view Haskins as a candidate for the starting job ahead of Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. He did, however, say he wants Haskins to get playing time before the end of the year.

Former coach Jay Gruden, who was let go following an 0-5 start, reportedly didn't want to draft Haskins with the team's No. 15 overall pick this year but was overruled by team owner Daniel Snyder.

Keenum was acquired from the Denver Broncos in a trade this offseason. He's completed 68% of his passes for 970 yards, seven touchdowns, and four interceptions across four games in Washington.
