Former Wisconsin quarterback Tyler Van Dyke is transferring to SMU, his agent told ESPN's Pete Thamel.
The 2025 season will be Van Dyke's final year of eligibility. He spent the first four campaigns of his college career with Miami before transferring to the Badgers this past season. Van Dyke entered the portal in early December.
The 23-year-old suffered a season-ending ACL tear just three games into the 2024 campaign to finish the year with 422 passing yards and one touchdown. The Connecticut native racked up 7,469 yards and 54 scores during his four-year tenure with the Hurricanes.
SMU is coming off a tremendous season, reaching the ACC title game and securing a spot in the College Football Playoff.
