Coach Jim Harbaugh landed his second top-25 recruit of the 2022 class Wednesday when four-star defensive end Derrick Moore announced his commitment to Michigan.

Moore is the No. 23 overall prospect on the ESPN 300 for 2022, and he joins cornerback William Johnson, ranked No. 19, to give Harbaugh two high-end defensive recruits for this cycle.

The 6-foot-4, 250-pound defender picked the Wolverines over offers from Ole Miss, Oklahoma, and many others.

Moore previously committed to Oklahoma but decommitted after coach Lincoln Riley left for USC.

The reigning Big Ten champions appear to have transitioned their on-field momentum to the recruiting trail. The Wolverines also signed safety Keon Sabb and flipped wide receiver Amorion Walker from Notre Dame and quarterback Alex Orji from Georgia Tech on the opening day of the early signing period.

Michigan will face off against Georgia in the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Orange Bowl on Dec. 31.
