Oklahoma City Thunder forward Jalen Williams suffered a dislocated left ankle and a fractured fibula Sunday against the Los Angeles Clippers, general manager Sam Presti announced Monday.

Presti also revealed that guard Cason Wallace suffered a torn labrum in his left shoulder.

The two are out indefinitely and likely to miss several months, though their recovery timelines will be clearer after their respective surgeries.

Williams' left leg got caught underneath him following a drive to the basket with 1:14 left to play Sunday. The 25-year-old had to be stretchered off the court as several Thunder teammates, including reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, reacted emotionally.

Wallace, 22, hurt his shoulder in the first quarter while running around a screen set by Clippers center Isaiah Jackson. He played just five-and-a-half minutes before heading to the locker room with trainers.

Williams is in the first year of a five-year, $240-million extension that could be worth up to $280 million. The former All-NBA pick averaged 17.1 points, 5.5 assists, and 4.6 rebounds last season but played just 33 games; he missed the first month of the regular season recovering from wrist surgery and then missed 24 of 26 games between January and March due to hamstring issues.

"He has an elite mindset," Presti said of Williams, courtesy of Clemente Almanza of Thunder Wire. "It's what makes him a great a player. It's what keeps him motivated. And it's why we all love him."

Wallace, who's in the final year of his rookie deal, signed a five-year, $135-million extension with Oklahoma City shortly before the start of the season.
