The Golden State Warriors are signing guard Brandin Podziemski to a five-year rookie-scale extension worth $110 million, Podziemski's agent told Shams Charania of ESPN.
Podziemski's new deal will contain a mutual option for 2031-32, as well as a trade kicker.
It's also fully guaranteed and represents a substantial raise on the $5.7 million he will earn this season before the extension kicks in for 2027-28.
The 23-year-old was the only Warrior to appear in all 82 games last season, with 43 starts in his third year. He averaged 13.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists while averaging the third-most minutes on the team (28.5) behind Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler.
Podziemski is now the only player on the team contracted through the 2030-31 season. The 19th overall pick in 2023 is likely to open the coming season as Curry's starting backcourt partner.
