Philadelphia 76ers superstar LeBron James launched a YouTube golf channel Saturday with a debut episode featuring members of the 2015-16 title-winning Cleveland Cavaliers.
James, J.R. Smith, Tristan Thompson, Richard Jefferson, Channing Frye, and Kevin Love compete in a 3-on-3 scramble at Castle Stuart Golf Links at Cabot Highlands, Scotland.
"I'm looking forward to people seeing this first episode, which was the trip of a lifetime with my teammates. We got to play golf and catch up in some of the most beautiful settings I've ever been in," James told The Hollywood Reporter's Tony Maglio.
"Golf has given me the challenge I need as a competitor," James added. "Just having a lot of fun, learning the game, practicing and playing as much as I can."
The channel will release new episodes monthly, Maglio adds.
James inked a two-year deal with the 76ers in free agency ahead of a record-extending 24th NBA season. The league's all-time leading scorer spent two spells in Cleveland that included leading the organization it its first ever championship in 2016.
The 41-year-old and business partner Maverick Carter are also reportedly nearing an agreement with ESPN for a behind-the-scenes documentary series similar to Michael Jordan's "The Last Dance."
