Gilgeous-Alexander received all nine votes from the panel of media members.
The reigning NBA MVP averaged 30.5 points, 8.3 assists, 4.8 boards, and 1.8 steals through the first four games of the West finals. He had another big performance in Wednesday's series-clinching contest, tallying 34 points, eight assists, seven boards, and two steals in 34 minutes.
Nikola Jokic, Stephen Curry, and Luka Doncic were the previous winners of the Magic Johnson Trophy.
Oklahoma City will play either the Indiana Pacers or New York Knicks in its first Finals appearance since 2012.
"This is a step in the right direction, but we have a lot more work to do, and we know that," Gilgeous-Alexander told ESPN's Lisa Salters during the trophy presentation.
