Report: Durant to miss at least 1 week with ankle sprain
Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant is expected to miss at least one week after spraining his left ankle during Sunday's blowout loss to the Houston Rockets, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.
Durant exited midway through the third quarter and needed assistance off the court.
The 15-time All-Star will reportedly be sidelined for the Suns' entire three-game road trip, which features contests against the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, and New York Knicks.
Phoenix trails the Sacramento Kings by 1.5 games for the West's final play-in tournament spot.
Durant's had a strong campaign when available, averaging 26.6 points, six boards, 4.2 assists, and 1.2 blocks across 62 appearances. He ranks sixth in the NBA's scoring race and 3-point percentage (43%).
