Pelicans trade Theis to Thunder
The Oklahoma City Thunder acquired center Daniel Theis and a second-round pick in 2031 from the New Orleans Pelicans for cash considerations Wednesday, the Thunder announced.
New Orleans gets below the luxury tax with the trade, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.

OKC adds another depth option behind Chet Holmgren, Isaiah Hartenstein, and Jaylin Williams. Holmgren played 10 games before suffering a pelvic fracture, while Hartenstein's missed 20 contests this season due to hand and calf injuries.
Oklahoma City is first in the Western Conference with a 39-9 record, while New Orleans ranks 12-38.
