New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby left Saturday's 128-112 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers after suffering a foot sprain.
Anunoby went down and held his heel after attempting to shoot a 3-pointer. He was able to walk to the locker room on his own.
Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said postgame that X-rays came back negative on Anunoby's foot.
Anunoby recorded 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting, along with two blocks in 17 minutes.
The 27-year-old entered the contest averaging 16.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, two assists, and 1.4 steals.
Anunoby is in his first full season with the Knicks after coming over in a trade with the Toronto Raptors in 2023. He signed a five-year, $212.5-million contract with New York in free agency.
The Knicks fell to 32-17 with the loss.
