The Boston Celtics unveiled their championship rings and banner prior to their opening-night contest against the New York Knicks on Tuesday.

The rings include 18 diamonds on the outer bezel, representing the franchise's 18 titles. All 18 years are engraved on the outside of the ring, where the 2024 squad's mantra - "Whatever it Takes" - is embossed on the side. The inside shank of the ring has the results of all four playoff series from the championship run.

The top of the ring is removable and includes a copy of the championship banner and a piece of the home parquet floor with the date and score of the championship-clinching game.

Celtics star Jayson Tatum spoke to the crowd at TD Garden after receiving his ring.

"Let's do it again," he exclaimed, per Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe.

After the rings were awarded, the Celtics lifted their new championship banner to the rafters. This is the team's first title since 2008 and puts them one ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers for most championships in NBA history.

Finals MVP Jaylen Brown arrived at the game sporting a jacket that commemorates the title.

After finishing the regular season with the league's best record, Boston steamrolled its competition in the postseason, going 12-2 through the first three rounds before beating the Dallas Mavericks in five games in the NBA Finals.
