Report: Nuggets president Tim Connelly turns down move to Wizards

Denver Nuggets president of basketball operations Tim Connelly will remain with the franchise after meeting with the Washington Wizards regarding their top executive role, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Wizards reportedly offered Connelly the job last week. A native of nearby Baltimore, he began his NBA career as an intern with the Washington franchise in 1996 and later worked as the team's head scout and director of player personnel.
Connelly has overseen the Nuggets since 2013, when former executive Masai Ujiri left for the Toronto Raptors. He signed a contract extension in February.
