A welterweight fight between Mike Malott and Joaquin Buckley will headline UFC Edmonton on Oct. 17 at Rogers Place, the promotion announced Tuesday.

A women's flyweight bout between Erin Blanchfield and Jasmine Jasudavicius, originally scheduled for UFC 330 on Aug. 15, will serve as the co-main event.

Malott, a Waterdown, Ontario, native, is headlining an event in Canada for the third straight time - and second this year - after knocking out Gilbert Burns in Winnipeg in April. The 34-year-old is riding a four-fight winning streak and hasn't lost since January 2024.

Buckley is coming off back-to-back losses to Sean Brady and former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman. The 32-year-old American was last victorious when he finished Colby Covington in December 2024.

Malott and Buckley are ranked No. 11 and No. 9 in the 170-pound division, respectively.

The Oct. 17 event will mark the UFC's first trip to Edmonton since November 2024.
