The UFC's historic show on the White House grounds Sunday averaged 7 million viewers in the United States and another 1.2 million in Latin America, streaming platform Paramount+ announced Thursday.

The event reached 17 million viewers total across those two regions over the course of seven fights, the streamer said.

The UFC is expected to release global viewership numbers next week.

UFC Freedom 250 was branded as a celebration of the country's 250th anniversary. Justin Gaethje unified the lightweight championship and handed Ilia Topuria his first career loss in the main event.

Last month's MVP MMA event on Netflix, featuring Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano in the main event, averaged 12.4 million viewers and peaked at nearly 17 million viewers.
