Royval to face Kape on Dec. 13 in last UFC fight of 2025
A five-round flyweight fight between Brandon Royval and Manel Kape will serve as the main event at UFC Fight Night on Dec. 13, Royval announced Monday.
It'll be the final UFC fight of 2025.
This will also be the last UFC bout in the U.S. broadcast rights agreement with ESPN, as the promotion will move to Paramount+ in 2026 as part of a blockbuster deal, according to Mike Bohn of MMA Junkie.
Royval and Kape were scheduled to face each other at UFC 317 in June, but the latter suffered a foot injury. Kape - the seventh-ranked flyweight - last fought in March, defeating Asu Almabayev by TKO. He's lost just one of his previous seven Octagon appearances.
Meanwhile, Royval suffered a unanimous decision defeat to Kape's short-notice replacement, Joshua Van, at UFC 317. The former UFC flyweight title challenger ranks third in the division.
