The New York Yankees are heading to the postseason for the second straight year after walking off the Chicago White Sox 3-2 on Tuesday.

José Caballero delivered the game-winning hit during New York's comeback victory over the South Siders.

"It's an honor, but I'm just happy for the team that we clinched the postseason," Caballero told YES Network's Meredith Marakovits.

Caballero's game-winner came after Anthony Volpe scored the tying run on a wild pitch from White Sox left-hander Brandon Eisert in the ninth inning.

Yankees captain Aaron Judge, who is the front-runner to win his third AL MVP, was confident his team would come from behind to win Tuesday.

"The guys - all the way down to the last strike - knew we were going to win that game," Judge told SNY's Michelle Margaux during the Yankees' clubhouse celebration.

The Yankees still have their sights set on first place in the American League East. They're one game behind the Toronto Blue Jays for the top spot in the division with five games remaining.

New York was five games back of Toronto for the division lead on Sept. 15.
