Erling Haaland may have a new look, but he's still the same scoring machine.
The Norwegian superstar scored his first goals of the 2026-27 Premier League season on Friday, netting a brace in Manchester City's comfortable 4-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Haaland, who now has 10 tallies in seven career Premier League matches against Palace, found the net with a looping header in the first half and an emphatic left-footed finish to cap the win in the second half.

As it turns out, Haaland's long hair wasn't the source of his scoring power after all. He rubbed his shaved head after scoring his first goal, a clear reference to the hoopla surrounding the buzz cut he unveiled ahead of the new Premier League season.
The 26-year-old has won the Premier League's Golden Boot award in three of the last four seasons, and is the favorite to capture the honor once again as the league's top scorer.
Rayan Cherki also scored twice in Friday's victory as City made it two wins from their opening two Premier League contests under Enzo Maresca.
