The transfer window may be closed, but the rumors never stop swirling. Check in every day for all the latest buzz from across the soccer world.

Top story: Ronaldo's future still unclear

Cristiano Ronaldo sparked widespread speculation about his future when he wrote on social media that "this chapter is over" after Al-Nassr's final game of the Saudi Pro League season earlier this week. It seemed like the clearest indication yet that he'd depart the club when his contract expires this summer. Recent reports suggest he's leaning toward staying at Al-Nassr, though, and is on the verge of extending his contract.

If Ronaldo does decide to leave, fellow Saudi side Al-Hilal, who are taking part in the upcoming Club World Cup, are emerging as the most serious contender for his signature. They've held talks about signing the 40-year-old and having him in the squad for the tournament in the United States. (Sky Sports)
