With the Premier League transfer window open, and the rest of Europe's top leagues preparing to officially do business July 1, the rumor mill is in overdrive. Check in every day for all the latest buzz from across the soccer world.

Top story: Gittens set for Chelsea medical

Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement in principle for Jamie Gittens to move to the west London club. The Blues and Gittens had already approved a seven-year contract but couldn't complete the transfer before the pre-Club World Cup deadline of June 10. That meant the 20-year-old winger was available play for Dortmund in North America.

The fee that Chelsea are paying to sign Gittens is yet to be confirmed but it's expected to be €50 million or more. His switch will be announced once his medical is completed. (The Athletic)
