Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum, Las Vegas Aces forward A'ja Wilson, and Hall of Fame guard Vince Carter were named the cover athletes for the next instalment of the NBA 2K franchise on Wednesday.

Tatum and Wilson have individual covers for 2K25 but are also featured together on the "All-Star" edition - marking the first time an NBA and WNBA player have graced a cover together. Carter is pictured on the "Hall of Fame" edition, ahead of his induction in August.

Tatum was a major contributor to the Celtics' record-breaking 18th championship, averaging 25 points, 9.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 1.1 steals over the playoffs. The former Duke product has been an All-Star for five straight seasons and made the last three All-NBA first teams.

In early July, he signed a reported five-year, $314-million extension, the largest contract in the Association's history.

Wilson, a two-time league MVP, won back-to-back titles with the Las Vegas Aces in 2022 and 2023. The two-time Defensive Player of the Year is leading the WNBA in scoring with 27 points per game and also averages 10.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.7 blocks, and 1.8 steals per contest.

Carter's 22 NBA campaigns represent the most in the league's history. Best known as a member of the Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets, he made eight consecutive All-Star teams between 2000-07. His iconic 2000 Dunk Contest performance is depicted on the cover.

The late NBA icon Kobe Bryant had two covers last season for 2K24. A 25th anniversary edition of the game was also released, as well as a cover for New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu.

All four editions of the game are available for preorder. Tatum and Wilson's covers are physical copies and can be obtained on Sept. 6. Carter's edition of the game is only available digitally and comes out two days later, on Sept. 8.
