Leafs' McMann suspended 1 game for high-sticking Bolts' Bjorkstrand
The NHL's Department of Player Safety suspended Toronto Maple Leafs forward Bobby McMann one game Tuesday for high-sticking Tampa Bay Lightning forward Oliver Bjorkstrand.
McMann was assessed a match penalty for the incident during the third period of Toronto's 2-0 win against the Lightning on Monday.

McMann was "in full control of both his stick and his own body at all times during this play and simply must display more control to ensure his stick does not directly strike his opponent's head," the Department of Player Safety explained.
The 29-year-old hadn't previously been fined or suspended in his 169-game career.
McMann has eight goals and 14 points in 29 games this season.
