The Nashville Predators are open to listening to trade offers for veteran forwards Steven Stamkos and Jonathan Marchessault, reports TSN's Darren Dreger.

The Predators signed Stamkos and Marchessault as part of their 2024 free-agency splash, but the acquisitions haven't worked out as hoped.

Stamkos is in the second season of a four-year deal with an $8-million cap hit. The 35-year-old has been limited to four goals and one assist in 22 games this season after collecting 53 points a year ago.

Marchessault has managed just four goals and two assists in 19 contests this campaign after tallying 56 points in 2024-25. The 34-year-old is in the second season of a five-year deal with a $5.5-million cap hit.

The Predators missed the 2025 playoffs and find themselves last in the NHL standings this season. General manager Barry Trotz, the man responsible for signing Stamkos and Marchessault, called out his players in an interview released Monday. The club responded by losing 8-3 to the Florida Panthers that night.
