Quinn Hughes is back.
The Vancouver Canucks captain returned for Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win against the Los Angeles Kings after missing the last six games with an oblique injury. He last played Jan. 31.
The Canucks went 3-2-1 without Hughes but struggled mightily to generate offense in his absence, scoring only 11 goals in that span.
Hughes, the reigning Norris Trophy winner, ranks third among NHL defensemen with 60 points in 48 games this season. His 1.25 points per game is tops at his position.
