Pittsburgh Penguins president of hockey operations and general manager Kyle Dubas and Tampa Bay Lightning vice president of hockey operations and general manager Julien BriseBois are joining Canada's management group for both upcoming best-on-best international hockey tournaments.

Dubas will serve as Canada's director of player personnel for the 4 Nations Face-Off in February 2025 and the 2026 Winter Olympics. BriseBois has been named assistant GM for both tournaments.

Dubas is entering his second season in Pittsburgh after nine campaigns with the Toronto Maple Leafs, five of which were spent as GM. He won a Calder Cup as GM of the AHL's Toronto Marlies in 2018.

BriseBois has won back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2020 and 2021 during his six-year run in charge of the Lightning. He previously served as an assistant GM with Tampa Bay before taking over for Steve Yzerman in 2018.

St. Louis Blues executive Doug Armstrong is Canada's GM for the Olympics and was tasked with picking the management team for the 4 Nations. Boston Bruins executive Don Sweeney is GM for the 4 Nations and assistant GM for the Olympics. Reigning two-time NHL GM of the Year Jim Nill is an associate GM for the 4 Nations and assistant GM for the Olympics.

"Julien and Kyle are accomplished NHL general managers, and I am excited to welcome them to our management group for both the 4 Nations Face-Off and Olympics, as I believe they will be strong assets to a well-rounded management team," Armstrong said.

"Both Julien and Kyle have enjoyed long and successful careers, and we believe their experience and knowledge of NHL players will be a great addition to our staff as we continue to evaluate Canadian players and build rosters for international competition.”

Canada has won each of the last three best-on-best international hockey tournaments at the 2010 Olympics, 2014 Olympics, and 2016 World Cup of Hockey.
