Harbaugh: Giants could consider Beckham reunion

New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh told reporters Monday that free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. could be an option for the team, according to Art Stapleton of northjersey.com.

Describing Beckham as one of his "very favorite people in the world," Harbaugh said the two still talk and text. The head coach added that both sides will have to evaluate whether a deal makes sense as the offseason progresses.

"The obvious, pad answer would be you look at every option, right?" Harbaugh said. "And if Odell's an option, then we'll be looking at it for sure."

Beckham remains unsigned after not playing in 2025. The NFL suspended him for six games in October for violating its policy on performance-enhancing drugs, but he's eligible to return in 2026.

The 33-year-old played under Harbaugh with the Baltimore Ravens in 2023. He most recently suited up for the Miami Dolphins two years ago, recording nine catches for 55 yards over nine games.

Beckham's best NFL seasons came with the Giants from 2014-18 after the team drafted him in the first round in 2014. He burst onto the scene as a rookie, totaling 91 receptions for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns. Across five seasons in New York, Beckham recorded over 5,400 receiving yards and 44 touchdowns before being traded to the Cleveland Browns.

Wan'Dale Robinson, the Giants' leading receiver in 2025, signed a four-year deal with the Tennessee Titans in free agency. However, the club has added pass-catchers for quarterback Jaxson Dart this offseason, inking Calvin Austin, Darnell Mooney, and tight end Isaiah Likely. New York is also hopeful that Malik Nabers, who suffered a season-ending knee injury in September, will return during training camp.
