Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett took home the Defensive Player of the Year award Thursday at the NFL Honors ceremony.

Garrett was one of five finalists for the award, along with Will Anderson Jr. of the Houston Texans, Micah Parsons of the Green Bay Packers, Aidan Hutchinson of the Detroit Lions, and Nik Bonitto of the Denver Broncos.

Garrett received all 50 first-place votes this year, according to Rob Maaddi of The Associated Press.

Player First-place votes Points

Will Anderson 0 177
Micah Parsons 0 63
Nik Bonitto 0 52
Aidan Hutchinson 0 42

The 30-year-old, who also won DPOY in 2023, was the heavy favorite to earn the league's top defensive honor again this year after breaking a single-season record with 23 sacks.

Additionally, Garrett led the NFL with 33 tackles for loss. He's been named a first-team All-Pro edge rusher in five of the past six seasons and has reached double-digit sacks in each of the last eight years.

Lawrence Taylor, J.J. Watt, and Aaron Donald share the record for the most Defensive Player of the Year awards, each having won the title three times in their careers.
