Report: Titans trading Jones to Ravens for 5th-round pick
The Baltimore Ravens are acquiring edge rusher Dre'Mont Jones from the Tennessee Titans for a conditional fifth-round pick, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Ravens are sending the Titans the New York Jets' 2026 selection that they acquired, but conditions could convert it into the Ravens' 2026 fourth-round pick, according to Schefter.
Jones has 28 tackles in nine contests this season, and all 4.5 of his sacks this year have come in the last four games. The 28-year-old has also posted 19 pressures on 218 pass-rush snaps, according to PFF.
The Broncos drafted Jones in the third round in 2019. He spent four seasons in Denver before signing a three-year, $51.5-million deal with the Seattle Seahawks. However, Seattle released him two campaigns into his contract, and the veteran signed a one-year, $10-million contract with the Titans in March.
Jones is expected to help a Ravens pass-rush that has only 11 sacks this season - tied for second-last in the NFL. Baltimore also ranks 28th in passing yards allowed per game. After starting the campaign 1-5, the Ravens have won their last two contests and face the Minnesota Vikings in Week 10.
Jones has 72 quarterback hits and 35 sacks in 99 career contests.
