Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered a gruesome injury to his non-throwing arm during Sunday night's 38-14 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said postgame that Daniels has an elbow injury, according to Grant Paulsen of 106.7 The Fan.

Daniels hurt himself in the fourth quarter while getting tackled at the end of a run with the Commanders trailing 38-7.

The reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year walked off the field with his left arm in a cast and went into the X-ray room.

He completed 16 of 22 pass attempts for 153 yards and no touchdowns against one interception before exiting. The 24-year-old also had 10 carries for 51 yards and one TD.

Sunday Night Football was Daniels' first game back from a hamstring injury that sidelined him in last week's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He also missed two contests in September with a knee sprain.

The Commanders reached the NFC title game last season and entered the 2025 campaign with high expectations. However, Washington has lost three in a row, falling to 3-6 with its latest defeat.
