Report: Jets' Wilson expected to miss multiple weeks with knee injury
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson is expected to miss "a couple of weeks" with a knee injury, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Wilson underwent an MRI on Monday that revealed he hyperextended his knee in Sunday's 13-11 loss to the Denver Broncos, Schefter reported. The wideout appears to have avoided a major injury, a source told Rich Cimini of ESPN.
The 25-year-old was hurt in the fourth quarter when he attempted to catch a ball out of his reach. He got up limping and ultimately missed the remainder of the game. Wilson finished the contest with three receptions for 13 yards on eight targets.
Earlier in the game, Wilson appeared to be upset with head coach Aaron Glenn about how the Jets handled their final offensive possession of the first half. They had the ball at their own 49-yard line with over 10 seconds remaining, but ultimately let the clock run out and didn't attempt another play.

New York's offense struggled mightily in London on Sunday, totaling 82 yards with minus-10 net passing yards. Justin Fields finished with nine completions and was sacked nine times. The team ranks 29th in EPA/dropback through six games, according to Ben Baldwin's database.
Wilson, who signed a four-year, $130-million extension in July, leads the team in targets (56), receptions (36), receiving yards (395), and touchdowns (four).
