Broncos, Bonitto agree to 4-year deal reportedly worth up to $120M
The Denver Broncos announced Thursday that pass-rusher Nik Bonitto agreed to terms on a four-year extension.
Bonitto's new deal is worth up to $120 million and contains $70 million in guaranteed money, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The contract carries a base value of $106 million over four years, Rapoport adds.
Bonitto is coming off a career season in which he recorded 13.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, one interception, and two defensive touchdowns. He finished ninth in Defensive Player of the Year voting.
It's the latest extension given out by the Broncos this offseason. The franchise also inked defensive lineman Zach Allen to a four-year, $102-million pact and wide receiver Courtland Sutton to a four-year deal worth $92 million.
A second-round pick in the 2022 draft, Bonitto was entering the final year of his rookie contract before agreeing to his new deal.
